International Recruitment

It is the strategy of the N5T to strive to become the Nordic check point for international MSc students demanding advanced and up-to-date engineering programs.
A working group on recruitment has been established with the aim to identify ways to market the alliance and its activities. This has resulted in a number of projects such as the N5T participation in the WIREC conference in Washington, March 2008.

In order to give an overview of the educational offer of the alliance, the N5T has elaborated a concept for listing all two-year M.Sc. programs at the individual universities.

An example of programs within Sustainable Energy is given here:

DTU
M.Sc. in Wind Energy
M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy

CHALMERS
M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Systems
M.Sc. in Industrial Ecology - For a Sustainable Society

KTH
M.Sc. in Sustainable Technology
M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Engineering

NTNU
M.Sc. in Industrial Ecology
M.Sc. in Hydropower Development

TKK
M.Sc. in Energy Technology, contact Justin Salminen,

The list links to the specific program web sites so that prospective M.Sc. students can get more information about the individual programs, be able to compare and finally select the program of choice.

When admitted to one of the N5T partner universities, students have the opportunity to choose courses or full terms at any of the other N5T universities under the rules that apply to that university, thereby drawing advantage of the complementary strengths of the alliance.
