N5T Sustainable Energy Network

In order to advance engineering education and engineering research and innovation, N5T has decided to take advantage of the many shared and complementary strengths of the alliance.

One area where N5T has an outstanding position worldwide is within Sustainable Energy activities, which comprises education, research and technology development.

The N5T Sustainable Energy Network consists of:

NTNU                  Department of Energy- and Process Engineering
TKK                    Department of Energy Technology, Energy Engineering
                          and Environmental Protection

Presently, the N5T Sustainable Energy Network has its focus on the development of the Nordic Master Program in Innovative Sustainable Energy Engineering (ISEE). The program is supported financially by The Nordic Council of Ministers.

Parallel to the development of ISEE the N5T Sustainable Energy Network has initiated an effort to market the ISEE program and brand N5T internationally.
