Exchange - International Students

If you are an international student and wish to spend one or two semesters at an institution within N5T, you should contact your home institution in order to make sure that there is an exchange agreement with the institution that you wish to attend.

All N5T institutions offer courses and programs in English. Course credits are based on the ECTS system. There are accommodation and welcome programs for international students.

The study structure varies between the five institutions: DTU and TKK both offer a three-year bachelor and a two-year master degree. NTNU offers a five-year degree and Chalmers and KTH offer both types of programs.

The academic year varies slightly between the five institutions. DTU, TKK and NTNU have a two semester structure with the autumn semester running from the beginning of September till December, and the spring semester running from January till June, whereas Chalmers and KTH have divided the year into four parts with exams four times a year.
