Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Nordic Five Tech universities are important actors in the Nordic innovation system. Many new ideas, patents and spin-off companies are born each year as a result of university research and the creativity of staff and students.

Joining forces on entrepreneurship education
Technical universities are key players when it comes to innovation and growth. Joining forces at a Nordic level will be valuable to help spread and showcase a more pertinent approach to entrepreneurship education. The Nordic Five Tech universities share a common understanding of the importance of a broader learning context for teaching and stimulating students to turn ideas into action.

Student potential
Students represent a big potential for universities in meeting the innovation challenge and universities must consider how they can provide students with an optimal and stimulating environment.

Entrepreneurship workshop
The Nordic FIve Tech alliance arrange workshops within topics such as:

  • Teacher/student dialogue on barriers, needs and ideas for a stimulating entrepreneurship environment
  • Collaboration opportunities and exchange of good practice on how to stimulate and support student entrepreneurship
